This ever-popular event is Sat., Sept. 18 and will feature 15 Carlsbad gardens, including a community garden, and the Master Gardener Demo Garden at the Flower Fields.
As this could be our hottest month, take care of yourself, not just your plants, when you 19;re gardening.  
If you live inland, you might get in one more round of summer veggies, and if you live on the coast, you can start your fall veggie seeds.

Ants are among the most prevalent (read annoying!) pests in households. They seek food and water, and hot weather tends to bring them into our homes even more.
